Social Responsibility in the Field of Procurement Engineering

In the last two decades, the concept of ‘social responsibility’ has shifted the activities of manufacturing companies towards responsible business approaches with a worrying and forward-looking orientation towards the fields of environment, society, and economy. Therefore, Kavir Steel Complex has put the implementation of social responsibility structure on its agenda and intends to take a valuable step towards achieving sustainable development with  leaving  a lasting impact on the society by implementing such structure.

Therefore, moving in such direction and in line with the objectives of this field, the procurement engineering department has taken the following measures and has included them in its work plan:

• Developing collaboration with the regional suppliers;
• Calling to attract suppliers in the region;
• Assisting suppliers in promoting and improving activities in the region.
