Turning Human Wastewater into Distilled Water**

Kavir Steel, by launching an advanced wastewater treatment plant, is the first in the country to treat human wastewater to the standard of distilled water for industrial use.

According to Kavir Steel’s Communications, the company’s water processing plant utilizes one of the most modern methods to purify human wastewater to the quality of distilled water.

In its initial phase, the plant began operations in December 2022, using 2.6% of the capacity of Kashan’s municipal wastewater treatment plant. Its objective is to secure a sustainable water supply. The plant currently treats 30 liters per second of incoming wastewater for use in production lines. This amount will eventually reach a total of 7.8% of Kashan’s treatment plant capacity, or 90 liters per second, in the development phase.
